Striking twin towers in the Focus industrial park
Between May 2021 and May 2022, Nägele Hoch- und Tiefbau GmbH carried out the construction of the new office building as a comprehensive building construction project on behalf of PRISMA Holding AG. The modern six-storey office tower offers around 3,200 m² of usable space and meets the highest standards of functionality, structural design and construction quality.
A central element of the project is the newly constructed underground car park with 74 parking spaces, which ensures efficient access to the building. Due to the challenging ground conditions, a high level of technical expertise was required. In particular, the complex water drainage measures placed high demands on planning and execution.
The building envelope was constructed with around 1,100 m² of exterior wall surface made of solid masonry. 50 cm thick Porotherm flat bricks were used, which contribute to the energy efficiency and durability of the building thanks to their excellent structural properties. The in-situ concrete ceilings were constructed using around 3,700 Beeplate hollow core inserts, enabling a material-efficient construction with a high load-bearing capacity.
The special civil engineering department was responsible for excavating the construction pit. The excavation pit was secured with sheet piling, which ensured the necessary stability during the construction phase and formed the basis for the smooth running of the civil engineering and structural work.
