Construction of precise excavation pit safety measures using 4,000m² of sheet piling
In October 2022, PORR carried out the excavation pit securing work for the new headquarters of Amann Girrbach AG in 6841 Mäder. The project placed high demands on scheduling, speed of execution and technical precision, as the work had to be completed within a very compact construction period.
A total of around 4,000m² of sheet piling was installed to ensure a stable and reliable excavation pit for the subsequent construction phases. Despite the high safety requirements and the cramped local conditions, the entire sheet piling work was successfully completed in just six working days. This was made possible by the use of modern special civil engineering technology and the high level of expertise and experience of the PORR team in Vorarlberg.
