Interpark Focus 38 has been a new office and service location in the centre of the Rhine Valley since spring 2023. While the building was already in place, the outdoor area had yet to be completed - which is exactly what we did. Another integral part of the construction work was securing the excavation pit.
Before starting the construction work, we cleared and relocated the existing infrastructure to create space for sheet piling to secure the construction pit. In the protected area, we built drainage systems and a storage channel to drain the water in a controlled manner. During the work, we also rerouted the telecoms cables to ensure a smooth progress of the project. Environmental protection was not neglected either: with soakaways as well as individual seperators for mineral oil and grease.

Modern outdoor surfaces
To create a stable and walkable surface, we produced drag slabs. This was followed by frost cover fills in the entire outdoor area to ensure ground stability. A harmonious overall look was created for the parking areas using surface paving and asphalt, while the main entrance is highlighted by coloured asphalt. Concrete kerbstones define the areas, and decorative gravel tastefully rounds off the overall picture.
What ultimately counts in the construction business is successfully completed projects. PORR has many of these.
