VIE runway 11/29 rehabilitation – 2016/2

The pavement of runway 11/29 at Vienna International Airport was rehabilitated in April and May 2016. The works involved a large number of specialist services – due to its technical expertise and high level of professional competence, ÖBA was the employer’s first choice.

Punctual to the minute.

The works were coordinated between the individual subsections on a daily basis; some of the steps had to be timed down to the minute. The work was carried out in night and weekend shifts and, thanks to the ÖBA team’s high level of commitment, team spirit and flexibility, was completed on schedule and to the complete satisfaction of Vienna Airport.

What ultimately counts in the construction business is successfully completed projects. PORR has many of these.
