Waste management is becoming increasingly important as an essential part of a functioning circular economy. This is especially true for the construction industry, which is known as particularly resource intensive. Here, we see it as our duty to contribute to the sustainable management of our raw materials.
Our responsibility for a sustainable future
Safe disposal and recycling of construction materials. Whether mineral processing, disposal or landfilling of waste: PORR specialises in the safe disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. In our own recycling plants, such as those in Himberg or Graz-Pirka, high-quality recycling products are created from mineral construction waste.
These are then recycled. The recycling of non-mineral building materials such as waterproofing and thermal insulation is also becoming increasingly relevant. Together with partners from academia and industry, we are developing new methods to close material cycles as effectively as possible.
