Watertight and stable solution
for deep excavations

The diaphragm wall is ideally suited for deep excavation solutions and as a deep foundation element with a structural function. In the landfill area and for flood protection, we also use the diaphragm wall method for the construction of sealing walls.

Implementation

A rectangular slot is created in the ground by excavating the soil using the grab or milling method while simultaneously filling the supporting suspension. In further work steps, the reinforcement and a shuttering element are installed for the subsequent element and concrete is filled using the contractor method. A technically tight wall is created by lining up individual elements.

Applications

  • Low-deformation excavation support, anchored or unanchored, technically watertight - especially for inner-city areas
  • Deep foundation of buildings
  • Sealing walls
